Wiefferink has various cover and storage solutions for the biogas sector

Biogas comes from the fermentation of many types of organic (residual) material. This can be manure, but also other organic waste streams. This source of energy will play an increasingly important role in the energy transition in the coming years. The production of biogas mainly takes place in gas tight, insulated heated silos in which bacteria (which are naturally present in biomass), convert the easily degradable organic substances into biogas.
